His Eminence Sheikh Abdul-Muhsin ibn Muhammad al-Qasim, may Allah preserve him, delivered the Friday khutbah entitled, “The Virtue of the Noble Qur’an and Those Who Act on Its Teachings,” in which he talked about the Noble Qur’an, stressing that it is the Word of Allah, Exalted be He. He listed some of the virtues of the Qur’an, as they are stated in the Qur’an itself and in the Sunnah of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, as well as some of the statements of the righteous predecessors that show the great extent to which they were influenced by the Noble Qur’an. He also urged Muslims to recite the Qur’an frequently and pay attention to its statements so that they may attain its reward and virtue.
