His Eminence Sheikh Saudal-Shuraim –May Allah protect him– delivered this Friday khutbahtitled “Negligence: Its Negative Effects on the MuslimUmmah”in whichhe addressedthe detrimental effects of negligence on the individual as well as the community,showing that it has been sharply censured in both the Book (Qur’an) and the Sunnah, inthewordsof scholars, wise people and poets. Sheikh al-Shuraimmentioned two examples from the Sunnah that censure negligence both on the individual and communal levels.
